An Animal Rescue Retreat

A safe haven for every animal in need.

Peaceful Promise Farm works with State and local Animal Control and rescue organizations to provide a safe environment for neglected and unwanted farm and domestic animals. Founded by Pam and Ron DePas, our retreat is a place of healing, connection, and hope.

About the Farm

A working farm where every animal finds peace.

Peaceful Promise Farm is an animal rescue retreat founded by Pam and Ron DePas. We work closely with State and local Animal Control and other rescue organizations to provide a safe environment for neglected and unwanted farm and domestic animals. Primary care for the animals and facility is provided by Ron and Pam, with additional assistance from dedicated volunteers.

As a working farm, activities are ongoing every day. Operating the farm takes approximately three hours per day for basic care and feeding, with at least one full day most weekends dedicated to grounds maintenance, supply runs, and upkeep of buildings, stalls, paddocks, and fencing.

Experience the farm up close.

Beyond Rescue

Our mission goes further.

In addition to rescue, we are building partnerships to share the comfort of time with animals with children and families of all abilities, support education, and serve our community.

1

Families of All Abilities

We welcome children and families of all abilities to spend time with the animals. Several families currently visit the farm regularly and enjoy helping out where they are able.

2

Homeschool Science

We are exploring partnerships with homeschool organizations to support science curriculums, hosting farm visits and bringing in subject matter experts to talk about farming and animal care.

3

Student Volunteering

We are developing a program with local schools to allow students to fulfill required volunteer service hours at the farm, supporting animal care and facility maintenance.

Community Impact

"The animals bring out something special in everyone."

"We attend local summer and fall festivals, hosting a booth with literature and information about the organization. Sometimes we bring smaller animals for the public to interact with. These events help raise awareness and provide education on the need for proper animal care, rescue, and the responsibilities of animal ownership."

In Loving Memory

Forever in our hearts.

Some of the animals who shaped Peaceful Promise Farm are no longer with us. We remember them here, with gratitude for every day we shared.

Be a Hero

There are many ways to help.

All activities and operations are funded through direct investment by the organization owners and donations from the public. Farm visits and tours are always free. There may be a fee for some activities, like riding with a trained coach. Your support keeps the farm running.

Volunteer

Help with daily care and feeding, weekend grounds maintenance, animal grooming, or event booths. Students can also fulfill volunteer service hours.
